miniMe
Happy Monday everyone! Over the weekend, I got my miniMe in the mail. I saw it on Fab.com, and wasn’t going to buy it at first…but I changed my mind because people said it looked like me.
What do you think? Doppelgangers?
The doll is made of resin and is from Momiji. If you’ve never been to their site, check it out – they make such cute figures!
Momiji are friendship dolls that come with a slip of paper for you to write a message on and slip inside the doll. So when you give it to a friend, you are giving both a special message and a friendship doll. I didn’t know that…so I tossed that slip of paper (it looked like an empty fortune from a fortune cookie to me). oops!
I’m a sucker for good packaging, and Momiji’s did not disappoint. My miniMe came in a cardboard takeout box.
Instead of using bubble wrap, the doll came on a little inflated cloud.
And I even got a sticker out of it.
I’m glad I ended up getting my miniMe. It can keep me company at work!
