ohm-bre (roundup)
Happy Tuesday, everyone! I realize I’m a day late in posting my DIY roundup, but I had good reason. Yesterday morning, I had a half hour to kill before work, and I started playing around with my WordPress theme. Turns out I messed it up and couldn’t revert my code. I decided that was a sign for me to do a little redesign. So I spent last night giving whollyKao a facelift. I’m a trial-and-error kind of coder, so changing themes took me longer than I thought. But I’m glad I did it. So that’s why whollyKao got a revamp, and that’s why the roundup is late a day!
anyhoo…
This roundup is all about ombre. Ombre is the fancy word for a gradient that moves from a darker color to a light hue of that same color. It’s very versatile: you can ombre your hair, your drapes, your clothes, your nails. Here are a few ombre tutorials I found especially inspiring. I can’t wait to do the pillows one, and the denim shirt one!

ombre cushion covers from I Don’t Know How She Does It
ombre tissue box from The Harpster Home
ombre nails from Refinery 29
dip dry curtains from Michael Penney Style
ombre denim from I Spy DIY

GORGEOUS! I love the leggings!
Thank you so much for the mention on my Ombre toss pillow!
