DIY mason jar roundup
After making my big E coffee koozy last week, I looked online for ways to repurpose mason jars. There are a TON of things out there. It kind of makes you want to buy more jars just to make new things.
So I thought I’d share a few of my findings.
1. mason jar sewing kit by Momtastic
I love how the jar serves as a storage unit for bobbins and thread. And the size is super cute!
You can plant rosemary, sage, thyme…you name it, and put it in a mason jar. Wouldn’t this make a great housewarming gift? Or, if you’d rather buy it, doodlebirdie has great ones:
These next two aren’t mason jars, but they were so cool I had to share them anyways.

4. mason jar storage on Lovely Little Details
I’d love to try this one out. So simple, but classy. And btw, Lovely Little Details has a weekly “Mason Jar Sunday” post that’s great inspiration.
5. mason jar lights on Design*Sponge
And if you’d rather buy the lights already assembled, Reclaimed Lighting has some great ones:

Boots N Gus on etsy also makes some great variations of the lamps:

And if you’d like to bring your mason jar lights outdoors, you can get these solar powered ones from treasureAgain on etsy.

Who knew mason jars could be so versatile? Like I said – finding out more uses for these makes you want to run out (or rummage at a yard sale) for more!
